Kanes Hill Primary : iPads and laptops stolen in school break-in

The devices were stolen during a burglary at Kanes Hill Primary School on between 6pm on Thursday and 5.30 am on Friday.

Thieves accessed the school grounds on Hinckler Road by breaking a window.

In a post shared on the school’s social media page, a spokesperson said: “We are very disappointed to report that at 8:10pm last night our server room was broken into resulting in the theft of IT equipment including laptops and iPads.”

The spokesperson said this was “disheartening” and “upsetting” adding: “This is money that should be spent on our children’s education and wellbeing, not in the hands of thieves.”

The school have asked anyone with information to please let them know.
