26-year-old man has been jailed for manslaughter in connection with the death of his father.
Mateusz Staszczyk, of Great South West Road, Hounslow, was charged with murder on December 16, 2021.
His father, Jacek Staszczyk, 48, had been found three days earlier at his home in Chatsworth Crescent with fatal stab wounds.
On October 27, 2022 Mateusz pleaded guilty to manslaughter by diminished manslaughter. He was sentenced at the same court on February 10, to an indefinite hospital order.
Senior investigating officer DCI Brian Howie, Specialist Crime, said: “This is a terribly sad case, which of course represents a double tragedy for the family of Jacek Staszczyk, my thoughts and sympathies remain with them today.”
